Following our sustainability initiative, today we’re gonna give you our advice on sustainability shopping and give you some easy tips on how you and shop with our planet in mind.
Shop with your own bags and containers: People are getting more and more aware of the impact brought by one-time-use plastic items. Using your own bags will not only save you money in the long run but reduce your environmental impact enormously. Same goes for containers. We here at the sustainability society rarely use one-time-use plastic items. Hand to heart, it is so much easier. For me, it is more about the feeling of eating and drinking from plastic items.
Find the right places to shop: One of the major contributions to environmental concerns is carbon emissions. We all have to chip-in somehow to save our planet. An easy way is to consider where you tend to shop from. You can be surprised how easy it is to shop closer to where you live. Also, more and more people are realising the advantages of going around with a bicycle. We strongly encourage people to give bikes a try. But be careful,

though. Always be cautious when riding a bike.
Buy local products: Buying local has many advantages. You can get more fresh produce that generally tends to taste better. Did you know that it will reduce your carbon footprint too? You can support your local merchant and minimize the potentially harmful gases and CO2 emission.
